- Landlord Verification: Before any flat, room, or commercial space is listed on our search page, the landlord must upload proof of identity (National ID card/NID or Passport) alongside property ownership deeds (dalil) or recent holding tax slips. Our team verifies these records before granting the listing a "Verified" badge.
- Tenant Verification: Tenants are required to complete their profile verification by uploading their NID details. This details is processed securely and helps landlords verify tenant credentials prior to signing lease agreements.
3. Secure Communications & Escrows
To protect your contact details and transaction history, we strongly advise keeping all discussions and transactions within the platform:
- Integrated Messaging: Our chat portal permits tenants and landlords to discuss lease terms and schedule viewings without sharing personal phone numbers. Keeping chats on Bariportal ensures a clear record is maintained in the event of a dispute.
- Escrow Deposit Protection: Tenants submit holding deposits directly through our platform checkout. These funds are held in a secure wallet and only released to the landlord once the tenancy agreement is e-signed by both parties. Never send money directly to landlords outside of Bariportal, as doing so voids all platform protections.
4. Reporting Fraud and Incidents
